Saturday fun

Sarah and Caroline playing outside - the day in Oregon started cloudy, but is sunny now at noon. Farmer's Market was crowded, so we quickly picked up peas and cherries and headed home to play outside. Hopefully no one will notice if I'm inside sewing on bags...

Pinwheel quilt

Here is the pinwheel picture I thought was attached to the last post.

Busy week for Grandma

My mom, Teri, finished her step 5 for the Orange Crush using a piece of floral Cornucopia that was left over from another project - I'm anxious to see how the final product looks.

She also took a class from her local quilt shop on making 3-d pinwheels...she'd better save the pattern for me...lol.

Step 5 all done

Step 5 of the Orange Crush done. Hopefully next time we put the blocks together - what fun!

Projects

DH working on a new fence this weekend. Moving right along. Sarah helping with flowers, when she's not picking them.

OC Step 5

Here is my full album block. I'm looking forward to Step 6 and getting it all together. Someone on the OC guessed at what it might be, I hope she is right - it all comes together fabulously.

Tea Cups

My mom is doing these tea cups through her local quilt shop - so I thought I'd do them too. I am doing them in extra fabric from DD2 and DD3 quilts for their room...could be a cute pillow, something for the wall, or who knows? The blocks are small - 6 inch finished - and use very little pieces. Would be cute for the smallest of leftovers.
