February Schnibbles

I know there is a rumor out there I don't finish projects, but....here is my February all quilted and bound. It looked so great on my mom's table that I left it there...
Oh, and yes, I finished the other two that were in progress as well. I was unhappy with the quilting on the Sanctuary one...the quilt stitches "skipped" almost constantly - I need to get to the root of that problem...and quickly!

Caroline's tree

My parents planted a tree for each of the girls when they were born. Caroline's is in bloom, so I took pictures while I was at their house - isn't it lovely? Caroline adores it.

Swing Bag

This is the Amy Butler pattern for a Swing Bag. I really liked the pattern - it went together well. Going to help Lizzie make one this weekend.

Poetry

Again. I was determined to finish off this fabric and I'm not even close. However, I made this variation on a Bonnie Hunter "leaders and enders" quilt that I will most definitely do again.

2" squares sewn into non-matching 9 patches and set on point with solids. I great way to use small scraps, which I had in a bag for "Poetry".

I don't know yet whether this will have borders for a long, narrow quilt (long story, I wanted 5 rows, but realized the corners didn't work unless there was an even number, and six would've been almost square and perhaps miss the zig zag look) or a table runner (just wider than our table, which might make a nice Spring runner. What do you think?
