Here are the color choices so far...plus the new dresser we picked up, which I find very cute. I thought it would be nice painted white...my H disagrees. Oh, well.

I have to agree with your Mom Julie, white would not do it justice. It is a bit dark, maybe a lighter finish to bring out the natural wood grains would be just right.
