4 (1" by 3.5")
4 (1.5" by 2.5")
For the present:
4 (1.5" by 2.5")
4 (2" by 3.5")
On all four of one color of the 1.5"x2.5" (doesn't matter which), mark a diagonal line 45 degrees across. Sew to a contrasting 1.5 x 2.5 as though you were creating bias binding. My mother calls this "stitch and flip". Press well (I also usually cut 1/4 inch from the stitching after sewing so there is less bulk).
There should be 4 sets of 3 strips...sew them together - be sure and watch the placement of the "bow" or you'll end up with a blob like I did on the earlier post.
Treat these like a 4 patch.
Voila...should be 6.5" (or there abouts) finished.
