So, I finally finished Shawn's birthday gift and am giving it to her - one month late! I'm finally getting more proficient at this pattern (second time's a charm?) and am going to make one for myself. Shawn's maybe needed a bit more stuffing, but it stands. The "loyalty wallets" I love...next up is Mom!
I purchased this desk/dresser from Craigslist last night. My grandmother used to have one in the bedroom I would stay in when I visited. This one is a good solid wood and is going to be painted some fun, funky color. Jerry is going to fix the hinges - it doesn't hold particularly well, but for the price it was great.
