Okay, we ended up doing 16 shops, plus the one my mom and her friend did on our behalf. The beach was lovely...but the hop was a little disappointing, actually. Mom said that ETC had a cute display. Otherwise, kudos to Cotton Patch, HollyHill and Grandma's Attic - they were the only ones that did anything for the hop. All had some form of quilt they made from their blocks and some fabric of the line to purchase. These are pictures of Newport, where we stayed - it was gorgeous. Then, here is the quick 4 patch I put together with some of the focus fabric and the extra fabric they gave. I like it better than most of the block patterns given.
I'm also going to do a little something with the left0vers...later.
