Sylvia's bridal quilt!

So, I picked up this book to do the quilt along. It's lovely. And the first few blocks are a little challenging but okay. However, I just took a gander to some of the upcoming blocks. There are some I would not attempt at 24 inches, let alone 6. Holy Cannoli! Oh, my...really. If you get a chance to take a peek at this book...oh, oh, oh. A Mariner's Compass at 6 inches? There are some that call for 1.25" to start...yes, 3/4 inch to finish. I'm off to bed, with the knowledge that this quilt will not ever be 140 blocks...I'm a gonna start cherry picking.
